798 Unit & Co. – Times Square – CWB

798 Unit & Co. is a casual Italian restaurant in Times Square.  I had been there before for lunch, and it seemed pretty good despite the little crowds that actually occupied the restaurant.  In Times Square it is quite common for the Chinese restaurants on the 10th floor to be over-packed and the upper-floor non-Chinese restaurants to be left quite empty.  This dissuades crowds, but 798 is quite a decent restaurant.  This time I went there for an afternoon snack, and quite a big one too as I had not eaten lunch (but I could not call this lunch as it was nearing 4pm already).

I ordered a spaghetti carbonara, and it came with a poached egg atop of it:

My friend ordered a banoffie pie, something I would definitely recommend!  It has a thick layer of whip cream, a crunchy crust, and a nice caramelized banana to go with it:
